ANTIQUE CHINESE OPIUM BOTTLE. Stands 2 5/8" tall. This is an early hand-blown into mould aqua green glass rectangular shaped bottle. Condition is excellent. There are small air bubbles in the glass. | Opium Scales
Commonly referred to as an "Opium Scale" it could have been used for that. The Chinese migrated to America beginning in 1850 during the Gold Rush and with them they brought this type scale. | Gold Nugget Pocket Watch Chain C/BJ38
This is a genuine Gold Nugget Pocket Watch Chain c.1850's. 46.7 grams (30 penny wgt.) or 1 1/2ozs of pure Gold. There are a total of 14 gold nuggets and the end nugget measures 3/4" long and 5/8" at its widest point. The bar measures 1 1/2" long so you get a sense of scale.
