This is a genuine Gold Nugget Pocket Watch Chain c.1850's. 46.7 grams (30 penny wgt.) or 1 1/2ozs of pure Gold. There are a total of 14 gold nuggets and the end nugget measures 3/4" long and 5/8" at its widest point. The bar measures 1 1/2" long so you get a sense of scale. The chain measures 15 3/4" long and the nuggets are solid gold, no quartz. The other items pictured with the chain are not included in this sale. |
