Pair of Alaskan mittens made from what I think is Wolf hide hair. They are tied together with a black braided cord and show very little use, if any. They might be military, possibly WWII as they are lined with a olive green wool lining with inked markings B-5164 and a name that has bled. There is a fabric tag in one mitten that says SIZE SMALL, but the mittens fit my medium sized hand. There is some shedding of the hair if pulled.

This period black saddle was made between 1890 and 1940. It has no makers mark but is reported to have once belonged to Gabby Hayes. No documented proof at this time. Under the gullet are the initials L.A.C. and on the back of the seat are small diamond shaped holes from a plaque that was once attached. Also included is the head stall and breast plate along with a wool saddle blanket. The saddle is in good shape and we have many more photos. Shipping costs to be determined. The saddle weighs about 50lbs and is 24" long X 18" wide X 48" high.
